Volunteering for the Pet Care Network

Our volunteers come from all walks of life

Would you like to volunteer to join the Pet Care Network?
Volunteering usually takes the following forms:

  • Transportation of Pets
  • Fostering of Pets

Anyone may apply to the Pet Care Network for volunteer membership.
Some reason why our current members joined are:

  • They like spending time with animals
  • They would like a pet, but at their time in life they feel it's best not to own one themself.

Transportation of Pets

Pet owners without transport often find it difficult to use public transport with their pets. As a car owner, you could therefore, be asked to transort pets to and from a fosterer's home, or asked to accompany the owner and pet to their local vet.

Fostering of Pets

This involves looking after an animal in your home and including it in your day to day routine. When you are caring for a pet in your own home, ideally we would hope that you could keep in touch with the owner and allay any fears they may have regarding their pets.
